AGRIBUSINESS LOANS

As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) the HVADC Agribusiness Loan Fund lends to farm and food enterprises in economically disadvantaged communities throughout the Hudson Valley region and surrounding areas. HVADC is the only CDFI in the region dedicated to providing funding to agribusinesses. The HVADC Agribusiness Loan Fund provides an alternative credit instruments for those businesses which may not be able to access capital through traditional institutions. It prioritizes serving African American and Hispanic enterprises in census tracts the CDFI Fund has deemed as low-income within the designated counties in both rural and urban areas. The Fund offers competitive rates, flexible terms, and a variety of loan types.  

We provide funding for businesses in agriculture or using or selling agricultural products, which includes local farms, value-add product producers, craft and wine beverage producers, food distribution companies, food aggregators, retail businesses, and restaurants.

Loan proceeds may be used for working capital, equipment purchase, real estate acquisition, leasehold improvements, business expansion, and bridge/gap funding.
